Mobo Technology LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SpeakDaily application available on iOS, Android, and the web. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name
• Profile photo (if provided via Google Sign-In)

Voice & Session Data

Core to our Service, we collect:

• Voice audio during speaking sessions (processed in real time to generate responses and feedback)
• Session transcripts and conversation history
• CEFR language proficiency level and progress scores
• Session metadata (duration, date, topics practiced)

Usage & Analytics Data

To improve the Service, we automatically collect:

• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Crash reports and diagnostic information
• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Approximate location (country/region, derived from IP)

Subscription & Purchase Data

When you subscribe, we receive from the Apple App Store or Google Play:

• Subscription plan type and status
• Purchase date and renewal status
• We do not receive or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

4. Voice Data & AI Processing

SpeakDaily's core feature involves real-time voice conversation. When you speak during a session, your audio is transmitted to third-party AI voice processing services to generate spoken responses and coaching feedback. This processing occurs in real time and is essential to the Service's functionality.

We use reputable, industry-standard AI service providers that maintain data processing agreements and do not use your voice data to train their models beyond what is required to deliver the immediate response.

Voice audio is not stored by us on our servers beyond the duration of the active session. Session transcripts (text representations) may be stored in your account to power your progress history.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with the following categories of service providers:

• Authentication & cloud infrastructure — account management, real-time database, and cloud storage (Google Firebase)
• Analytics & crash reporting — app performance monitoring and usage analytics (Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics)
• AI voice processing — real-time speech recognition, language generation, and text-to-speech (third-party AI services)
• Payment processing — in-app subscription billing (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We do not authorize these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service:

• Account information: Retained until you delete your account
• Session transcripts & progress data: Retained until you delete your account
• Analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymized form for up to 24 months
• Crash reports: Retained for up to 90 days

When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for analytical purposes.

All Users

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update inaccurate information through your account settings
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion Policy
• Portability: Request an export of your session history and profile data

EU / EEA Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Right to restrict processing in certain circumstances
• Right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based
• Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

When we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we do so under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
• Right to delete personal information we have collected from you
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information

8. Children's Privacy

SpeakDaily is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@mobotechnology.com and we will delete the information promptly.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest
• Access controls limiting who can access your data
• Regular security monitoring and vulnerability assessments
• Firestore security rules restricting data access to account owners only

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Do Not Track

Our Service does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT for mobile and web apps. You can manage analytics preferences by contacting us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
